Herbal Seasonings and Spices

Wild Woods Farm in the Blackwater section of Virginia Beach (directions sent upon registration)

Seasonings and spices add nutrition, flavor, and zest to the foods we eat. Many of these herbs grow wild around us and can be used to season and spice up your food. These herbs come from the leaves, seeds, roots, bark, stems, flowers, or fruits of wild and cultivated herbs. This class will cover plants that grow wild and can be used as seasonings. A prepared dish, using wild herbs, will be available for tasting.
